Drawing Approvals

• Application in Form-1 duly signed by the applicant or his GPA holder (along with copy of relevant document such as JDA/GPA etc.); in case of supplier/licensee installations not below the rank of The Assistant Executive Engineer or its equivalent.
• Prescribed drawing scrutiny fees paid challan or Receipt.
• Copy of valid License of the Electrical Contractor, Supervisor and; Wireman permit copy Endorsed to concerned LEC
• Affidavit-8 : Authorization of owner of the installation to the Licensed Electrical Contractor on Rs 20 /- Stamp paper
• Form Z: estimate and agreement made with the Licensed electrical Contractor and consumer on Rs 200/- stamp paper
• Copy of proof of property ownership/occupancy document.

• Copy of power sanction letter from licensee along with sketch and estimate.

• Copy of power sanction letter from licensee along with sketch and estimate.

• Copy of power sanction letter from licensee along with sketch and estimate
• In case of layouts copy of layout sanction plan from competent authority.

• Copy of power sanction letter from licensee along with sketch and estimate.

• NOC from Railways, NOC from national highway, PTCC approval, NOC from Air port authority etc. and ROW documents (if applicable)
• Check survey report along with tower schedule for transmission and power evacuation lines & approved topo-map (for 33kV and above).

• Approval copy & approved drawings of existing installation where additions/alterations of Installation is proposed.
• In case applicant is not the owner, consent from the owner of the installation.

• Temporary power sanction letter by ESCOMS.

• In case applicant is not the owner, consent from the owner of the installation.
• Approval copy of existing installation along with ESCOM RR No. (if applicable).

• Govt. Order for captive and third party sale, wheeling and banking. (if applicable)
• KREDL Letter of Award. (if applicable).
• Work intimation letter in Format 6 in case of SRTPV.
• Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and/or Supplemental Power Purchase Agreement. (if applicable).
• KERC approval for PPA/Supplemental PPA (if applicable).
• Regular Power evacuation approval by ESCOM/KPTCL (if applicable).
• Approved Building plan/license approved by competent authority along with Structural stability certificates from registered structural engineer in case of Solar Roof Top PV systems..
• Copy Land conversion approvals from competent authority (if applicable).

• Govt. Order for setting up Thermal Power plant.
• Govt. Order for captive/sale of energy/wheeling and banking..
• Regular Power evacuation approval by ESCOM/KPTCL.

• Govt. Order/any supplemental order for transfer of allotment.
• KREDL agreement copy along with KREDL approved topo-map.
• Copy Land conversion approvals from competent authority.
• Regular Power evacuation approval by ESCOM/KPTCL.
• Valid National Institute of Wind Energy Technology (NIWE) certificate for make & capacity of WTG.

• Govt. Order for setting up Bio-mass power plant.

Note: Drawings shall be

• • Single Line Diagram of electrical installation showing all details from starting point to end point of the entire installation (For additions or alterations existing and proposed scheme shall be legibly marked)
  • Key plan or Site plan showing the location of transformer, Generator, Electrical Room, Panels, motors, etc.
  • Physical Layout/Plan: The Physical layout of the installation should show the location of all the equipments in relations to the location of switchboards and distribution boards. The clearance around the switchboards, distribution boards and main panels shall be indicated legibly.
  • Elevation in sections showing overhead clearance, Horizontal, Vertical and sectional clearances with respect to equipments and ground.
  • Method of construction of Earth pits / Earth mat as per standards and method of cable laying.
